On September 10, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Wrench fell from the rooftop of a high-rise building located in downtown Fairfax, Virginia. Witnesses reported that he was attempting to take a selfie when he lost his balance and fell approximately 12 stories. Emergency services were called to the scene, but Wrench was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
